In Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 you can use surface modeling to create design models with shapes that are too complex for solid features. In this course you learn how to use various techniques to create complex surfaces with tangent and curvature continuities. You can then create solids using the surfaces as references. You will also learn how to analyze surfaces for quality as well as manipulate surfaces using the various editing tools available in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0. After completing this course you will be well prepared to create complex shaped design models using surfaces in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0. Creating Production Drawings with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (24 hrs of Web Based Training)
Creating Production Drawings with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 is a comprehensive training course that teaches you how to quickly create detailed drawings using information captured within the 3-D design models. The course builds upon the basic lessons you learned in Fast Track to Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0, and serves as the second stage learning. In this course, you will learn how to create drawings, how to detail drawings, and how to take advantage of the parametric and associative nature of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 when manipulating drawings. You will also learn system administration information relating to drawings. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to create complete production drawings suitable for manufacturing.

Designing Sheetmetal Products with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (16 hrs of Web Based Training)
In this course you will learn how to design sheetmetal parts and assemblies, including sheetmetal production drawings. All the functions needed to create sheetmetal parts, drawings, and assemblies are covered. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to create sheetmetal design models, create the flat state of the model, and document both in production drawings.

Configuring ModelCHECK with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (.75 hours of Web Based Training or 1.25 hour Virtual Class)
In this course, you will learn how to implement and configure ModelCHECK while capturing your company standards and design practices. You can use various configuration files to set up and customize your ModelCHECK implementation.
ModelCHECK starts by reading a list of initialization settings and determines the combination of configuration files to be loaded using condition files. You can setup a list of checks using check files and capture your company standard information using start configuration files. You can also setup constant values and status criteria using the constant and status configuration files. When ModelCHECK runs, it will use these configuration files to check design models against your company standards and report any errors or problems based on the criteria that you have specified.

Using ModelCHECK with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (.75 hours of Web Based Training or 1.25 hour Virtual Class)
ModelCHECK is an application that integrates directly into Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. It is useful in analyzing parts, drawings, and assemblies for compliance with company standards and proper design techniques. It displays the results of the analysis and recommends improvements using reports that appear in the Web browser embedded in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. It can be configured to run interactively as well as automatically whenever a user regenerates or saves a model. It is a quality control tool that can be used to promote the use of standard design practices and improve the productivity of downstream users. In this course, you will learn how to run ModelCHECK to analyze design models such as parts, assemblies, and drawings. You will also learn how to use ModelCHECK reports to identify and fix various types of errors in parts, assemblies and drawings.

Creating Datum Features with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.25 hours of Web Based Training or 1.75 hour Virtual Class)
In this course, you will learn how to create and use datum features with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. Datum features are important tools that are used when constructing models and assemblies and are very useful in some analyses. You will also learn how to create datum planes, axes, curves, points, and coordinate systems. After completing this course, you should have a firm understanding of the different constraints and options that each datum feature has available.

Creating Variable Section Sweeps with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (2 hours of web based training or 2.5 hour Virtual Class)
In this class, you will explore the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Variable Section Sweep feature (VSS) in detail. Topics in this class include: VSS general characteristics, use of the VSS dashboard and interface, the moving frame concept, understanding the function and use of the Origin trajectory, use of additional trajectories, selection, extension and trimming of multiple chain trajectories. You will also understand and use: Section plane control, Horizontal/Vertical control, and tangent trajectories, VSS options, trajpar and evalpgraph during a VSS. Finally, you will learn rules and restrictions applicable during VSS.

Understanding Pattern and Copy in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.75 hours Web Based Training or 2.25 Virtual Class)
In this class, you will explore the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Copy and Pattern functionalities. These functions allow the reuse of exiting geometric data which can lead to development time savings when implemented. Topics in this class include: common terminology, understanding and using pattern options, dimensioning patterns in 1 and 2 directions, pattern tables, relation driven patterns, and fill patterns. You will also learn about rotational patterning, modifying existing patterns, copy options, using and breaking copy dependencies, and group patterning.

Using Replace for Assembly Flexibility in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.25 hours of Web Based Training or 1.75 Virtual Class)
In this class, you will learn about the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Replace functionality. The Replace function lends a tremendous amount of flexibility to the user, allowing you to swap Pro/ENGINEER parts and sub-assemblies in and out of design assemblies quickly and efficiently. Topics in this class include: Replace function basics, Using the Replace functionality by: Family Tables, Interchange assemblies, Reference Models (associative Shrinkwrap, merge and inherited features), and layouts. You will also learn about manual functionality, copying models, and you will understand the pros and cons of the above methods.

Using Resolve Mode in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1 hour Web Based Training or 1.5 hour Virtual Class)
In this course, you will learn how to use the functionality available in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire¿s Resolve Mode. You will learn how to find, diagnose, track and avoid problems in Pro/ENGINEER that can lead to model regeneration problems. Specific topics covered include use of the Regeneration BackUp model, part, assembly and drawing regeneration failures, using the Global Reference Viewer, use of Fix Model vs. Quick Fix functionality, Investigation tools, and modeling tips/ techniques for solving current regeneration problems and avoiding them in the future.

Using Design Animation in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.75 hours of Web Based Training or 1.25 hour Virtual Class)
In this course, you will learn how to use the Design Animation Option (DAO) mode in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. Like the MDO/MDX mechanism design modes, this mode can be used to simulate kinematic studies of Pro/ENGINEER mechanisms. DAO differs from mechanism design modes in that knowledge of mechanism connections, drivers, or other elements is not required to build successful animations. DAO can be used to animate Pro/ENGINEER assembly mechanisms as well document assembly steps and processes. Topics covered in this course include: use of the DAO interface, definitions of terminology used in DAO, typical DAO workflows, body definitions, creation of snapshots, exploration/use of the DAO drag functionality, construction of Key Frame Sequences, development of animations, interference studies, creation of .MPG movies of animations and useful tips and techniques.

Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire PhotoRender Workshop (3 hour Virtual Class)
In this class, much of the functionality available in the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire PhotoRender mode will be explored, allowing you to create photo realistic renderings of Pro/ENGINEER models. Topics covered in this class include: Accessing PhotoRender, setting up Pro/ENGINEER objects and the rendering environment/room, transparency, colors and highlights, reflectivity, Bump, Texture and Decal mapping, applying perspective, lighting and light types, use of the two different PhotoRender engines, shadowing, ray tracing, special effects (fogging, lens flare, light scattering, focus/depth of field), using the Image Editor and capture of final images.

Effective Shrinkwrapping with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.5 hours of Web Based Training or 2 hour Virtual Class)
In this class, you will learn about the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire Shrinkwrap functionality. Topics in this class include: definitions of the differences between Exported and Associative Shrinkwraps, use of the three Exported Shrinkwrap creation methods, understanding and using special handling features, and creation of Exported Shrinkwrap models. You will also learn the differences between internal and external associative Shrinkwrap features, creation and use of internal and external associative Shrinkwraps, and substitution of Shrinkwrap using envelopes in Simplified Representations.

Implementing Pro/PROGRAM in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.25 Web Based Training or 1.75 hour Virtual Class)
In this course, you will learn how to automate part and assembly designs using Pro/PROGRAM. You will learn how to edit, incorporate changes and execute Pro/PROGRAM, as well as how it is structured. You will also learn how to manipulate part features, run lower-level programs (part and sub-assembly) from within a top-level assembly and how to interchange components within an assembly design.

Using Pro/Welding in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1.25 hours of Web Based Training)
In this course, you will learn how to use the Pro/WELDING functionality available in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0. You will learn how to create edge treatments, welds, notches, and welding rods. You will also learn the difference between light and solid welds, welding process creation and designation as well as automatic Weld Symbol assignment. You will learn to use Pro/WELDING in drawing mode, custom Weld Symbol designations and some best practices and tips while working in Pro/WELDING.

Virtual Prototyping Strategies in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire (1 hour of Web Based Training)
In this course, you will learn about best practices used to conduct virtual prototyping. The focus of this strategy is to optimize a product towards a target and make the product less sensitive to variations in the manufacturing process and to variations in the operating environment of the product. The prototyping strategy leverages ¿Design of Experiment¿ techniques for rapid and effective simulations on virtual prototypes. You will learn when you can use virtual prototyping during the steps of the product development process. You will learn the objectives and benefits of virtual prototyping to help you to determine the status of your company in leveraging virtual prototyping strategies. In this course, you will learn how to use advanced part modeling techniques in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 to improve your product designs. You will learn how to create and modify design models using advanced sketching techniques and feature creation tools. You will learn how to reuse existing design geometry when creating new design models. You will also learn how to analyze and optimize design models to conform to design specifications. Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0 Update (8 hours of Web Based Training)
In this course you will learn how to utilize many of the enhancements to core functionality in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0. This includes learning how to use new sketcher functionality and new methods for using sketches in sketch based features. You learn new methods for creating features such as rounds and chamfers, and new capabilities for feature manipulation, such as copying and mirroring features.
